Had the author run a draft past you I have to assume he would have embraced your suggestions which would have taken the reader into another level of inquiry. 800 pages of excellent writing to give us insights into Gorbechev and the “gaps” is appealing but I have more than once thought we could use a book from you. Would love to hear you take on the prevailing myths that drive so much destructive behaviour.
